Using a cooling mechanism, HP unveiled the new “Mindframe” headset

One drawback of gaming headphones is that, despite how cozy they are, after a while I start to feel like my ears are burning. HP unveiled a new Mindframe Headset model after realizing this issue. This headset’s ability to maintain its coolness without getting warm, even after being worn all day, is one of its most distinctive properties.

The ear cup of Mindframe Headsets has a thermoelectric device. According to HP, heat generated inside the Acoustic Chamber may be channeled outside, keeping the headphones constantly cool. HP has patented the technology used in this cooling system.

The first continuous cooling system-equipped headphones are called Mindframe.

The Mindframe headset was unveiled at the introduction of new Omen Gaming Products in China, and Devindra Hardawar, a senior editor at Engadget, had the opportunity to test it out. He remembered how it felt similar to putting his hand in front of an air conditioner.

The HP Mindframe contains a technology that constantly cools the ear, a microphone that can only pick up sound coming from one direction, reduces sound noise, and more. A USB 2.0 Type-A Connector 3D, RGB Lighting system, and 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound system are also incorporated.

The cost was not made public. Beginning in the middle of 2018, it will be sold in the market.
